Meanwhile Tonight’s show starring Jimmy Fallon, Tim confirmed that the project is underway. It seems that they have also made good progress.

“Bob Iger, the head of Disney, said they were already underway,” he told host Jimmy Fallon. “He actually said it was going to happen. They approached Tom and me to take up the roles. “They don’t say anything about it.”

He continued, expressing some doubts about returning for a fifth film.

“For people like me, it’s like I’m a science fiction fan. Wondering if four was too many? “Is five going to be too much?” Tim admitted.

There is good news about the movie, however: “According to rumors, the writer who is making it wrote one of the best ones and said, ‘If I didn’t do this right, I wouldn’t do it.’ So it could be a very, very interesting way to bring it together.”

If you missed it, last year Tim spilled some tea about his relationship with Tom.

More recently, he hinted at plans to reboot one of his other big projects.
