Fan favorite Drew Barrymore Show is returning to the post-writers’ air strike. As the head writers declined Barrymore’s invitation to return, a new release date was set.
With the Writer’s Guild of America strike officially ending, Barrymore’s talk show is planning its return. However, an authoritative source said USA Today The show will be without its three main writers, Cristina Kinon, Elizabeth Koe and Chelsea White.
The writers supposedly refused to return to the show after Barrymore announced the fourth season of her show during the ongoing WGA strike. While the talk show host initially defended her decision to return without writers, she ultimately backed down and postponed the premiere.

Barrymore’s backlash from last month
Barrymore received criticism on social media and picketers at her New York studio following her announcement of her show’s return on September 10.
In response, he wrote: “I have no words to express my sincere apologies to anyone I have hurt and of course to our amazing team who works on the show and made it what it is today.”
