Seth Rogen is one of the world’s most beloved comedians. He appreciates the love he receives from his fans, but it’s the love from his wife, Lauren Miller, that he’s most grateful for.
Rogen got his start as a comedian in his native Vancouver. He moved to Los Angeles when he landed the role of editor on the final season of Da Ali G show. His efforts on the show earned him a Emmy for “Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series.”

started as an actress
Lauren grew up in a Jewish family of four in Lakeland, Florida. She attended the Lois Cowles Harrison Center for the Visual and Performing Arts for her high school studies. After that, she went to Florida State University to study film.
After college, Lauren played supporting roles in a few of Seth’s movies, including, Very badly, Observe and Report, 50/50and Zack and Miri make a porn. Lauren insists that she didn’t get the roles in Rogen’s movies just because they were dating. She acknowledges that people think that she appeared in movies for love. She explained to Vulture how she landed the role of herself in Very badly:
“Most people assume he was my boyfriend and he was being nice to me, but a lot of it was just luck and coincidence… whoever was supposed to do that scene didn’t get to do it. He was sitting with one of the producers, Shauna Robertson, and I don’t think she knew I was an actor, but she said, ‘Do you want to do it?’
Miller has also appeared on a few television shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, inside edition, nobody’s masterand ben and kate.

Lauren decided to try screenwriting after her acting career came to a standstill. She co-wrote her first film, It’s a good time to call…, based on his actual experiences at Florida State University. it was a great success and Focus functions acquired the rights to the film for a sum of 2 million dollars.

She didn’t know who Seth was before they started dating.
Seth’s friend and Lauren’s friend were dating and they all ran into one day at a party. At that point, Seth’s career was about to take off. He wasn’t as popular as he is now, but he was still a celebrity. In an interview with Vulture, Lauren admitted that she didn’t know who Seth was:
“This was before The 40 Year Old Virgin, and I had no idea who I was. And I was very shy around guys, but he was also weird and weird around girls.
It’s hard to imagine a funny man like Rogen being shy around girls. However, Seth and Lauren hit it off and planned a date.
The couple went on a date that ended with a round of miniature golf. They were almost hit by disaster on their way home. A 16-year-old inexperienced driver stole his dad’s car and went for a spin on the freeway.
The boy lost control and struck Rogen’s vehicle. He drove away, but Rogen lost control of the car and went off the road. Seth wrecked his car but luckily Lauren and Rogen escaped unharmed. Lauren’s roommate took Seth home after the incident.

Lauren and Seth met in 2004 and dated for six years before Seth popped the question in September 2010. That represented six years of dating and a friend of Seth’s told him Lifestyle that Lauren thought Seth would never ask her to be his wife. Seth’s friend said;
“He surprised her with the proposal… She had begun to lose hope that she would ever ask the question.”
Seth’s proposal didn’t go as planned. He attributes it to the anxiety he felt after buying the ring. Seth confessed in an interview with Conan O’Brien:
“I literally felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold on to, I felt like the feds would kick my door in at any moment. I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think about was this ring.”
The consequence of his anxiety was that he did not plan the proposal. She wanted to get him out of the way, so she popped the question the first chance she got. Unfortunately, she asked Lauren to marry him while she was changing clothes in her closet.
At the time, Lauren was topless. He admits it wasn’t perfect, but he’s glad Lauren said yes.
Lauren and Seth got married at the Kunde estate.
Seth and Lauren were married on October 2, 2010. The couple tied the knot at the Kunde Estate in Sonoma in what was a star-studded ceremony. Guests including Adam Sandler, Craig Robinson and Paul Rudd attended the ceremony, along with friends and family of the couple.
The wedding was filled with joy and laughter thanks to the comedians who attended the wedding. US Weekly reported that the crowd could not contain their laughter. The guests attended a wedding and a comedy show at the same time.
The couple looked fabulous in their wedding attire. A rabbi officiated at the Jewish wedding. After the wedding ceremony, the couple drove away in a classic white convertible before joining guests at the reception.

He had to defend his relationship in 2018
In 2018, reports surfaced claiming that Lauren was frustrated with Seth for not paying enough attention to her. Reports claimed that Seth had gone to buy her expensive gifts to keep the marriage afloat.
Lauren was quick to dispel these rumors. She made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where she stated;
“I love him too… I’ll keep him close. He is incredible. He is my favorite human in the whole wide world. He’s funny, he’s sweet… I feel so lucky every day…”
Lauren and Seth are set to celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary this year. They have been together for a long time and seem to be very much in love.
She is the founder of Hilarity for Charity.
Hilarity for Charity is an organization that focuses on Alzheimer’s disease care, research and support. Lauren and Seth started the organization after Lauren’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Lauren wrote an article for NBC News describing how difficult it was for her and her mother;
“Buying her clothes that fit her diapers, instead of going to lunch and shopping together, is not something a daughter of any age wants to do.”
Lauren’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when Lauren was 25 years old. Lauren hoped to spend 20 years enjoying her life with her mother, but her illness denied her that opportunity.
Lauren and Seth started the organization after caring for their mother for two years. Lauren realized that she had a voice that could reach many people and that she could help more people with Alzheimer’s.
The couple launched the organization in January 2012, and their initial fundraising event raised more than $300,000. As of 2019, the organization had raised over $10 million. Anyone can donate money through the organization’s website to help Alzheimer’s patients around the world.
The organization funds research and provides care for those who cannot afford hospital care.
