Nailea Devora is an American social media star who became famous for posting entertaining videos on YouTube. Devora’s cheerful personality and creative edits have brought 1.74 million subscribers to her self-titled channel. Nailea entertains her 1.4 million followers on her Instagram with a variety of modeling photos.
Like most influencers, Nailea’s TikTok following has grown exponentially during the quarantine period. Devora will soon reach two million followers on the dance and lip sync app. The rapid growth can be attributed to her creativity and her recent collaborations with established stars like Larray.

Nailea moved to California because all her childhood friends left and she wanted to study in Santa Barbara.
Nailea was born on January 20, 2002 in the United States to Mexican parents. Early in high school, she decided to move to Santa Barbara, California, to attend college. Nailea’s friends made it easy for her to move to California because they all moved before her. Nailea revealed in a video from September 26, 2020 that she no longer had any friends in her hometown:
“As much as I love my home, I used to live in a small town and all my friends left. And besides, the fucking boy he had a crush on in high school, the boy he had a silent crush on, is gone too. I’m not even going to live in the city itself, I’m going to be outside. I’ll be pretty close because everything in California is pretty close, but I’m not going to be in the city. Anyway, who gives a shit?
Most influencers move to California to live in the same area with other content creators and potentially collaborate with them to gain a following. Nailea didn’t move to California for social media, but she has reaped the benefits of having other influencers by her side. She has developed a strong bond with social media star Larray, who has been featured in her TikTok and YouTube videos.
Devora had a couple of online stalkers in her hometown, but the stalkers turned out to be real once she moved to California.
Nailea’s experience with stalkers began when a person emailed her a photo of their home. That stalker turned out to be an Internet user from Indonesia who took a Google photo of her house and sent it to her. Devora later received a different photo of her house from another user. She was a little alarmed, but she calmed down when she realized that the photo was available on the Internet. Devora stated in a November 13, 2020 video:
“And then, I get another email, which isn’t stalker number one or stalker number two, it’s a whole different fucking email, and it’s the exact same picture that stalker number two sent me. So anyway, it ended up being like a troll where I guess people saw my video, so they searched my house and started sending me pictures… Obviously no one had taken it.”
Devora’s move to California was inspired in part by her desire to get away from her persistent stalkers. Unfortunately, the bullying situation worsened when she moved out and she is partly to blame for the situation. Nailea gave her phone number to a stranger in a car, who thought she might have been following her.
Nailea blocked the stranger, but called with a hidden ID using another phone. She also sent creepy text messages that made Devora uncomfortable. To make matters worse, she seems to have shared her number with someone else who has now started texting Nailea. Devora stated in her video that she is quite traumatized:
“So I’m like, I’m going to die. I’m like, ‘Okay, mommy. Thank you so much. I’m going to shit because I’m so scared. Thanks for letting me know what an idiot I am. I already know that.’ So I hang up, go to my room, lie on my bed and cry for like 40 minutes because I’m scared to death.”
It has been a difficult learning experience for Nailea as she now knows the drawbacks of giving out her number to strangers. She is taking all the necessary safety precautions to make sure she doesn’t get hurt. It’s unlikely we’ll get another update on the stalker situation, as Nailea stated that she didn’t enjoy making the video.
