Dierks Bentley is a world famous country music artist who has achieved much success. He has come a long way to success and the support of his wife, Cassidy Black, has been invaluable.
Bentley released their first album in 2003. The first song on the album, What was I thinking?reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. The album was a huge success and was eventually certified platinum by the RIAA.

Cassidy and Bentley met during the eighth grade in their school days in Phoenix, Arizona. Bentley approached Cassidy after she dated her best friend. Things did not go well with Cassidy’s best friend, and eventually Bentley broke up with Cassidy.
However, it was not a smooth relationship. It became difficult for the couple to maintain the relationship as Bentley pursued her music career. At the time, Bentley was a wild character who was more interested in having fun than maintaining the relationship.

“Finally, I was playing Vegas and opening for George Strait, and she got on the bus. I knew at that moment that this was the moment.”

Bentley was now ready to focus on the relationship and made his intentions clear to Cassidy. The couple’s love blossomed and Bentley popped the question on December 17, 2005.
The couple then decided to elope to Mexico to get married. Bentley told the reporter;
“I finished that tour in Las Vegas, playing House of Blues, and we went to Mexico, and three days later, we got married. Probably one of the things I’m most grateful for is part of the success that comes after, because it’s so nice to share it with someone.”
The couple married in a small chapel in Mexico. cassidy said The boot;
“We got married in a little chapel in Mexico, and it was beautiful and private and real.”
The couple have been together for a long time and they show no signs of breaking up.

Bentley praises his wife whenever the opportunity presents itself. Bentley also expresses his love for his wife in her music. He said Billboard;
“I feel that everything starts at home with my wife, she is the one who cements me, she is also the one who has helped me grow as a person during all these years, so I feel if I am going to tell these stories in the album on the right, I need to start with she”.

“I had the idea to put my wife in the video, who is totally out of her comfort zone, but I couldn’t imagine making a video for this song without her and she reluctantly agreed…but then she totally nailed it. . It wouldn’t have been genuine without her.”
Bentley received a lot of applause for the song, and Cassidy is glad she contributed to the song’s success.
Bentley also wrote the song, long drive home, in reference to the relationship he has with his wife. The song explains how he traveled across the country to keep in touch with Cassidy.
Cassidy and Bentley designed their house in the shape of a triangle
The shape of the couple’s house is quite unique. Cassidy describes the house as a piece of cake. However, the couple revealed that they love the house for its location more than its unique shape. Bentley revealed to Country Weekly;
“…I’ll tell you what the key to this whole house is, and why I’ve always loved it. It is the quality of life. I can walk to my management company from here. I can walk to the studios where I do most of my work.”
The location is also convenient to Cassidy. She stays close to her friends, and this means she doesn’t miss out on any big events. Bentley said Country Weekly;
“And when I’m gone, Cass can walk across the street to a coffee shop and sandwich shop…She has friends nearby and can be surrounded by spontaneous events, rather than stuck in the middle of nowhere.”
She is the mother of three children.
Cassidy’s marriage to Bentley has produced three children; Evelyn Day Bentley (October 4, 2008), Jordan Catherine Bentley (December 25, 2010) and Knox (October 9, 2013). Evelyn has shown an interest in singing and has even joined her father on stage several times.

Cassidy’s first marathon was the 2014 Boston Marathon. Bentley flew from Nashville to Boston to support his wife. According Taste of Country a fan asked Bentley if he would race with his wife and he replied;
“HA! Hell no. I’ll be one in a million with a sign that screams…and drinks!”
Bentley met his wife at mile 17. Cassidy finished the marathon in just under three hours and 34 minutes. She ran at a steady pace of one mile every eight minutes.
In 2017, he completed the Boston Marathon for the second time. She recorded a time of 3 hours and 26 minutes. This was an 8-minute improvement on her time in 2014. This time, Cassidy ran the marathon to support Nashville’s Safe Haven.
Safe Haven is a center for the homeless in central Tennessee. It is the only homeless shelter in the area that accepts the whole family. After the race, Cassidy thanked people for their support and encouraged them to donate to Safe Haven.
He shared a video on Instagram with the caption;
