The love I have received from you over the last 6 years has been absolutely surreal. You tuned in and were dedicated fans and together we were able to share the healing powers of design. From you I learned everything about kindness, love and acceptance and that has changed my life for the better. The way you embraced me and accepted me for who I am is something I will truly carry with me for the rest of my life. Over these years, you die-hard Queer Eye fans have shared with me many stories about how the show has touched your lives and I couldn’t be more grateful to each and every one of you for being brave enough to share your experiences.”
“To all of our wonderful, loving, amazing, brave heroes, there is a lot I want to say and a lot of gratitude I want to express to all of you for allowing me into your homes and hearts. It’s all thanks to you that I have kept going all these years and each and every one of you has changed me for the better. I am very proud of all of you! Being able to guide you to find the best version of yourself is something I never took for granted and never will,” he continued.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my last season on Queer Eye. It has not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but it was necessary. Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will see more of me very soon.”
