The Office: Michael Scott’s 14 Best Love Interests, Ranked

in spite of office The focus is mainly on what happened to Dunder Mifflin, but not without a rich sub-plot. One of these side stories – what drives much of the series – is Michael’s endless quest for love.

In fact, Michael has many relationships throughout the series. While not everyone can watch more than one episode, all of them are worth looking into. After all, Michael probably wouldn’t have gotten the woman of his dreams without his long list of relationships.

Time slows down in Scranton; This is Michael Scott’s ranking of serious girlfriends, casual dates and exes.

Updated by Alyssa Avina on April 28, 2020: The Office is a movie that has stood the test of time, which is why we watch it over and over again. Throughout the series, we see Michael Scott constantly trying to find his “half”, but mostly dating and interested in people who simply aren’t right for him.

Let’s take a look back at his pathetic dating history and crush history and look back with this definitive ranking.

Jane Levinson

Michael’s relationship with Jane is arguably the most explored of the bunch, with Jane making her first appearance in season one and being repeatedly mentioned throughout the rest of the series.

As Michael’s boss, Jane initially maintains a professional relationship with him. She constantly tries to understand his antics, but in the end, she gives in to his feelings and makes things toxic.

She is manipulative and controlling, which causes her to spend Michael’s money and become lazy. Although she has never been kind to Michael, he is still responsible for the child she conceived after going to the sperm bank. Thankfully, he learned to let go.

ryan Howard

Michael is known to have a seemingly not-so-naive admiration for his protégé Ryan Howard. This has always been related to the inappropriate affection he had for Ryan, although Michael denied it until the day of his death.

Obviously they never will, but Michael tends to observe appropriate workplace behavior in front of his favorite employees. Ryan’s constant use of bias is further proof that they are not a Dunder Mifflin match made from heaven.

nickname

Nikki is Benihana’s waitress, and in “A Benihana Christmas” she is the one who goes on a date with Michael at the office holiday party. He gives her a bicycle that he intends to donate to the needy as a gift, only for her to meet her friend Amy (who dates Andy) at a party. Apparently, she was just as memorable to him as their brief relationship.

But what can Michael expect? Carol just broke up with him because his face was paired with her ex-husband in a picture of her family skiing trip. ARE NOT a good opinion.

donna newton

Donna is one of Michael’s most important relationships, even if it’s not healthy at all. He first met Donna during “Happy Hour” (S6E21), at a bar she runs, where she asks him to stop dancing at the pool table. Although it didn’t start well, they flirted and eventually started a relationship after she visited the office.

Unfortunately for Michael, he begins to believe that Donna is cheating on him, but then finds out that she is married and uses him to cheat on her husband. Although it is difficult to end the relationship, under pressure from his co-workers, he sent Donna a message to officially end the relationship.

Margaret

When Michael decided to get back into the dating game, he asked all of Dunder Mifflin’s employees to write a woman’s name and phone number on a card, hoping they would arrange for him one final match. Pam sympathizes with him and decides to really try to introduce him to someone – her landlady, Margaret.

She thinks she is sweet and kind and would make a good date for Michael. But when Michael meets her on a blind date, it’s clear he’s not interested in her, and unfortunately, he lets her know it too. This is very difficult.

katie

Amy Adams as Katie Moore in 'The Office'

Yes, Katie became Jim’s girlfriend, but she started out as Michael’s love interest in one episode. In fact, most of the guys at Dunder Mifflin are attracted to her.

The relationship was never very hopeful, but it was fun.

Pam Beasley

Pam Beasley never actually dated Michael, but if you’ve heard the story Michael told Jane, you’d think differently. As we know in the infamous “Dinner Party” episode officeFor a while, Michael told Jane that he and Pam were a couple.

Of course, Pam vehemently denied the allegation, only Jane and Angela did not believe her. It was hilarious, sure, but Pam wasn’t very happy about the turn of events. We can’t blame her entirely, either.

Deborah Shoshlevski

In “Chair Model” (S4E14), Michael has to choose a new chair, but instead, he is fascinated by the woman in the catalog displaying it. Unfortunately, Dwight did some research and learned that she died in a car crash.

To end it all, Dwight took Michael to her grave, where they sang “Goodbye Miss Chair Model” to the tune of “American Pie”.

Although Michael and Deborah have never met, you can’t say he’s not enthusiastic.

mary the concierge

Mary is the guide Michael meets on a business trip to Winnipeg with Oscar and Andy. He misunderstood her job and thought she was really a “luxury” prostitute.

Michael is still trying to get rid of Holly, but he has a crush on Mary and is emotional when she invites him back to her hotel room. However, their brief relationship did not develop anything real.

A deleted scene from “Sex Education” (S7E7) shows Michael calling the concierge and telling her to get tested for herpes. Although the woman doesn’t sound like Mary, it is assumed that she is someone he wants to connect with.

Glove girl

After breaking up with Holly, Michael donated blood in a parking lot on Valentine’s Day. There he met a female donor with whom he got along very well. However, he fainted because he did not eat enough before donating blood, when he woke up, she was gone. He just found a glove at her place and hopes she’ll come back for it – even though she never did.

It was a romantic memory — after all, their blood bags had touched. Too bad it couldn’t be more.

Juliet

Pam and Jim date Julie with Michael. At first, it went well because Julie laughed at everything and Michael liked her attention. But when he learned it was a real date, he opened up more about his “Mike dating” character and things took a turn for the worse in an instant.

Jolie seems to be a good enough woman, she’s pretty and laughs at his every joke, so if he hadn’t ruined the date and met Donna that night, they might have been a couple worth watching.

Helen beasley

Helen Beasley's Office

Pam’s mother dated Michael for a short time, and when Pam learned that a relationship had begun between the two, she went crazy. Although she initially thought the relationship was inappropriate, she later admitted that she couldn’t change it and went to lunch with Michael and Helen on “Double Date” (S6E9) to congratulate her. celebrate her birthday. However, when Michael learned Helen was 58 years old, he dumped her because he felt he was a “grave robber”.

Helen may be sweet, but her relationship with Michael is not destined for long.

carols

Carol is played by Steve Carell’s real-life wife (Nancy Carell), who is introduced as Michael’s real estate agent in “The Office Olympics” (episode 2). She mistakenly thinks Michael and Dwight are dating, but ends up dating himself.

In “Diwali” (S3E6), Michael finally proposes to Carol at a party, but she declines saying that this is only their ninth date. Things went downhill since then, and he didn’t reconnect with Carol until season seven, when he believed she had infected him with herpes.
