A disturbing altercation took place outside Club Skye in Tampa on Monday night involving rapper Nardo Wick’s entourage, resulting in serious injuries to a young fan after he asked for a photo.

George Obregón, 20, attended Wick’s concert at Club Skye and approached the rapper and his entourage after the show, looking for a photo opportunity with his favorite artist. However, the interaction took a nightmarish turn when Obregón was brutally attacked, suffering a concussion and a brain hemorrhage, and is now in critical but stable condition, he reported. WFLA.

Images circulating on social media captured the disturbing incident. Obregón was surprised and knocked unconscious by a member of Wick’s entourage. While he was leaning against a wall, defenseless, another man hit him multiple times, causing him to fall to the ground with a severe blow to the head.

George’s mother, Michelle Obregón, expressed her outrage and concern, emphasizing her son’s non-aggressive behavior and his intention to take a photograph. “My son wanted a stupid photo with his favorite artist! And this is what he gets! My stomach hurts thinking about how this could have turned out! she expressed.

Tampa police have sought help identifying the suspects involved in the attack.

Witness Connor Villa shared his account with TMZrecounting the incident in which Obregón approached Wick to take his photo and was unexpectedly hit by one of the entourage members.

In response to the distressing incident, Wick expressed his apologies and concern for Obregón’s well-being in a statement, denouncing the attack by those around him. “I in no way condone what happened to my fan George after my show,” the rapper said, adding that he tried to intervene during the altercation.

Wick assured his efforts to connect with Obregón’s family, highlighting that the suspects are not associated with his security nor directly linked to him.

Wick representatives clarified WFLA that the two suspects were not part of his security team or closely affiliated with it.
