The Drew Barrymore-led daytime TV show, which experienced a lot of backlash after initially announcing its return amid the Hollywood strikes, now has a new premiere date for season 4.

The show will return for its fourth season on Monday, October 16.

In early September, Drew and CBS Media Ventures announced that the series would return on Monday, September 18, regardless of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and SAG-AFTRA strikes that were ongoing at the time. (The writers’ strike has since ended, but the actors’ strike has not.)

After a tearful video explaining her decision to continue, she deleted the video and ultimately postponed the release date. “I have heard everyone and I am making the decision to pause the premiere of the show until the strike is over,” she said at the time.
