Kyle Jacobs’ autopsy results have been revealed and the cause of his death has been confirmed.
The husband of country singer Kellie Pickler passed away in February at their home in Nashville, where he was an acclaimed songwriter for various country artists.

Taste of Country obtained the results of the autopsy that was performed a day after Kyle’s death and he died from an “intraoral gunshot wound.”
There were no drugs in Kyle’s system at the time of his death.
“An adult white male with a history of pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the autopsy states.
The National Library of Medicine states that pseudoseizures are events “that clinically resemble epileptic seizures but that occur without the excessive synchronous cortical EEG activity that defines epileptic seizures.”
