The author of the popular “DivergentThe book series opens on the three films that were made based on the books.
Veronica Roth shared her thoughts in a new interview about how the films ended after only three, instead of the planned four, as well as pointing out that it didn’t make much sense to split the third book into two parts.

“I mean, breaking things in two was all the rage at the time. That’s why that decision was made,” she said. People. “But at the time, I think I always felt peace about it simply because I knew that the movies were taking a different path than the books, and if you change the beginning, you change the ending. What was supposed to be the final movie, Upward, it was reported in 2016 and again in 2017 that a television movie and spin-off television series were in the works. However, those plans were closed in 2018.
