Tharashan Thyagaraja is a Sri Lankan Indian actor. He has acted in South Indian films. Tharshan is a participant in the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil (Season 3), which is hosted by Kamal Haasan.

Tharashan Thyagaraja was born on 17 September 1990 (age 28 years; as in 2018) in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He did his schooling from a local school in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He did B.Tech in Software Engineering from Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), Colombo, Sri Lanka. Tharshan wanted to become a model since he was in college. He used to take modeling assignments for popular clothing brands in Sri Lanka.

After completing his college education, he got a job in an IT firm called “Virtusa” in the United States. After working at the firm for 5 years, he was promoted and transferred to Australia, but, Thurson declined the offer and left the firm. He wanted to pursue his passion and pursue a career in modeling and acting.

When Tharashan Thyagaraja returned to Sri Lanka to start his career in modeling, he worked in several modeling assignments. He participated in the Mister Sri Lanka International contest in 2016 and won. She started getting offers from modeling and advertising agencies. She received an offer from Sun Music to be a part of their Valentine’s Day music video. After that, Tharshan decided to come to India and establish his career in the South Indian film industry. 
After coming to India, he acted in advertisements of many popular brands. After acting in advertising films, he got his first big break in 2018 when he was cast as a villain in his first film “Verena Vendam”. This gave him exposure and people liked his acting. He had a huge fan following among the youth. Due to his popularity he was cast in two more Tamil films, which are yet to be released.

In 2019, Tharshan was selected as a participant in the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil (Season 3), which is hosted by leading Bollywood actor Kamal Haasan. He joined the show to boost his career and increase his following.
