A source close to the actor said PEOPLE that not only has he moved on and is dating, but that he is “fine” and “focused on work.” Details about the new relationship were not revealed.

“[He] he certainly doesn’t speak ill of her,” the source said about Joe Alwyn and his position on Taylor Swift. “He was in love with her and it just didn’t work out.”

Speaking about Alwyn’s need for privacy, the source said he loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with his career. “He doesn’t feel comfortable being the center of attention,” he said.
