Music superstar Taylor Swift went viral again this past weekend. She was present at the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills game. Her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is the Chiefs’ star tight end.
Travis and Taylor went public late last year and the two have apparently grown closer. So Taylor went from a one-time assistant to a near-permanent fixture at NFL games. As the two have grown closer, so has Taylor’s relationship with his family, which a source says “means everything” to him.
“Everyone knows how close Travis is to his family. “So to him it means how perfectly Taylor fits in with all of them,” a source told US Weekly.
A fan present tells all about the Taylor Swift suite
The Swift and Kelce suite was a fixture during the Bills-Chiefs matchup on Sunday. Taylor got excited every time her boyfriend made a big play. Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother, was shirtless drinking beers. He also jumped from his suite into the stands to celebrate with fans. PEOPLE came across a fan who was sitting near the suite. She describes the experience as “noisy.”
“Taylor’s suite was COTTON. There was no question who they were rooting for,” season ticket holder Matt C told PEOPLE.
“And, despite the cold temperatures, they opened the large window in the suite and kept it open throughout the game,” he adds. “There was definitely some banter between the Kelce/Swift suite and the fans below, especially when points were scored. In the end, they won and they have bragging rights.”
ESPN analyst declares himself a Swiftie
Since Swift and Kelce were the hottest new additions, it naturally gained some unexpected new fans from the sports world. One of those new fans is one of the biggest personalities in sports media. ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith recently admitted to being a Swiftie and attending one of her concerts. Swift says the show was “phenomenal.”
“I went to his concert. Man, I was off the chain. I loved. I couldn’t believe how much I loved him. She was phenomenal,” Smith said.
“I saw Taylor Swift get a nine-minute ovation between songs. There was no one seated, the concert lasted three and a half hours, non-stop, and there was no intermission. I was on my feet for three and a half hours. “I never sat down.”
