The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills on Sunday to advance to their third Super Bowl since 2019. Of course, pop music icon Taylor Swift was on hand to support her new boyfriend.
Swift and Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce became a fixture earlier this season. During his visit to M&T Bank Stadium, the “Shake it Off” artist sported thousands of dollars in jewelry, according to Page Six.
“While cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce as his team defeated Baltimore 17-10 to advance to the Super Bowl, the pop phenom wore a custom diamond friendship bracelet ($5,830) from Wove, the brand of professional golfer Michelle Wie West , which spelled “TNT, “To Travis and Taylor,” Page Six reports.
But the price didn’t stop there for Swift, it also sported more moderately priced accessories.
“Swift also wore an EB & Co. ring ($14) with a small replica of Kelce’s jersey, along with a Mejuri ring ($598) with a fire red Chiefs garnet,” Page Six added.
“In addition, she accessorized with Wwake earrings ($2,830) suspended with opals, which happen to be the tight end’s birthstone, and a sold-out Wear by Erin Andrews x BaubleBar Chiefs necklace ($44).”
Taylor Swift getting closer to the Kelce family
Travis and Taylor went public late last year and the two have apparently grown closer. So Taylor went from a one-time assistant to a near-permanent fixture at NFL games.
As the two have grown closer, so has Taylor’s relationship with his family, which a source says “means everything” to him.
“Everyone knows how close Travis is to his family. “So to him it means how perfectly Taylor fits in with all of them,” a source told US Weekly.
Jason Kelce’s wife gives insight into his future in the NFL
Earlier this season, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce hinted at the idea of retiring after this season. After his Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs, an explosive report suggested that Jason told teammates that he was indeed retiring from him. However, that report turned out to be inaccurate. Jason’s future in the NFL remains in limbo. But his wife Kelce believes that whatever he decides to do next, he will achieve.
“I think it wouldn’t be healthy to always be asking, ‘What if? What if I continue? What if he played one more season? I think whatever he does, he’s going to be successful,” Kelce’s wife Kylie told Good Morning America.
“And I’m not just saying that because she’s his wife, I think it’s her personality. I’m really excited to see what she does next because I think she’s going to make it.”
