Taylor Swift flew 178,000 miles last year, ‘Stalker’ private jet reveals

Despite his recent legal situation with Taylor Swift, Jack Sweeney is not backing down from pursuing the pop icon’s private jet.

The University of Central Florida student recently announced that Swift flew 178,000 miles last year. He released all of Swift’s flight records since 2023. Although he didn’t count how many flights there were, he was told it was more than 170.

Sweeney’s video noted that Taylor Swift’s two private jets flew 178,000 miles in 2023, which is equivalent to circling the Earth seven times. The flights emitted 1,200 tons of CO2, 83 times more than the U.S. average.

The video also shows where the flights departed and landed. Sweeney then quoted Swift as saying, “Jet lag is a choice.” This is a reference to the comment she made after flying from Tokyo to Las Vegas to see her boyfriend Travis Kelce play in Super Bowl LVIII.

The video comes less than six months after Taylor Swift sent Sweeney a cease-and-desist letter alleging she was helping stalkers by sharing logs of her private jet.

“While this may be a game for you, or an avenue you hope will bring you wealth or fame, it is a matter of life and death for our Client,” Swift’s legal team stated in the letter.

“EM. Swift has dealt with stalkers and others who wish to harm her since she was a teenager…reality has forced our Client to live her life in a constant state of fear for her personal safety.”

Jack Sweeney says he hasn’t heard from Taylor Swift since cease and desist letter

According Sun, Sweeney has not heard from Taylor Swift’s legal team since the cease and desist letter. However, his team closed his Instagram dedicated to Swift Jets and he cannot reopen the account.

Sweeney previously had to deal with legal pressure from Elon Musk, who publicly criticized him for tracking his plane in X. Musk had also offered Sweeney $5,000 to stop the tracking, but Sweeney refused.

“Nothing [has happened,” Sweeney said while talking about Taylor Swift. “I’m not really surprised. It’s pretty much like with Elon, you know, they’ll say something to intimidate the smaller person. It’s the attention they’re getting that they don’t like. I like it – that it brings awareness.”

Sweeney pointed out that exposing celebrity jet uses shouldn’t be seen as a “competition.” He claimed that Swift isn’t even in the top 10 when it comes to extensive jet use among celebrities.

The top three celebrities who have the most jet uses are Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian, and Elon Musk. “There’s so many people, it’s not really a competition for who’s the biggest polluter,” Sweeney said.

“The one jet [of Taylor’s] which is used maybe now every two weeks only between Tennessee and California. Since the new year, he doesn’t always use the jet for tours.”

“Could that be the reason [of negative publicity]”Sweeney added. “Or it could be that the character plane is nicer, a little faster and can go further.”

Taylor Swift sold one of her planes earlier this year.
