Taylor Swift Fans Identify ‘Spray Tanned Bronze Statue’ of Kim Kardashian Diss Track

Taylor Swift fans believe they’ve identified the “spray-tanned bronze statue” referenced in her Kim Kardashian diss track.

The lyrics to “thanK you aIMee,” which many believe are about Kim, begin with the following lyric.

“When I imagine my hometown / There’s a spray-tanned bronze statue of you / And a plaque underneath / That threatens to push me down the stairs of our school.” She apparently compares the song’s subject to a bully from her hometown who still haunts her.

In the past, Kim and Taylor had a controversial relationship. In fact, their feud came to a head when Kanye West, Kim’s then-husband, released a song with the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor could still have sex / I made that bitch famous.” He also used a fake impersonation of a naked Taylor in his music video.

When Taylor claimed she didn’t approve of Kanye’s lyrics and video, Kim launched an out-of-context and potentially edited phone call with Taylor to try to make it look like she was lying. Kim then tweeted shortly after:

“Wait, is National Snake Day legit?!?!? They have holidays for everyone, I mean everything these days!

In Taylor’s new song, “thanK you aIMee,” Taylor delves into her feelings regarding her feud with Kim. She doesn’t hold back in expressing how difficult it was for her during that time.

“Everyone knows my mother is a holy woman, but she used to say she wished you were dead,” Taylor sings. “So I pushed every rock up that hill. Your words still echoed in my head, echoed in my head.”

A Swiftie posted on X that she believes the reference statue was “Athena Parthenos,” which is located in Centennial Park near downtown Nashville.

This statue is especially relevant because it features a huge snake which, as mentioned above, Kim used to describe Taylor during their fight.

Many X users also joked that the lyrics fit Kim perfectly, posting photos of a tanned-looking, poorly tanned Kim.

Another user“‘tall spray-tanned bronze statue’ like who else is notoriously known for her bad tans and for having a huge reputation that has tarnished Taylor.”
