Tarun Chugh is an Indian politician and the national general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the national coordinator of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao (Campaign of Government of India).

Tarun Chugh was born on Thursday, 3 May 1973 (age 50 years; as in 2023) in Amritsar, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Taurus. He has done BA from DAV College, Amritsar. She graduated with an MBA in HR degree (Master of Business Administration in Human Resources) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya in December 2013. However, according to some sources, he did his MBA from DAV College, Amritsar. At first, he worked in a railway booking agency in Jalandhar, Punjab. He was also a partner in Sri Mahalakshmi Enterprises Business of Medicine Agency. He later became a partner in “Shree Enterprises, Business of Providing Services”. Tarun Chugh’s career within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been varied and influential. Beginning in 1989, he worked as district secretary and state executive member of the ABVP. In 1993, he was elected as the President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) for Amritsar district. He assumed the role of District President of BJYM in 1994. Within two years, he became the general secretary and national executive member of BJYM Punjab, playing a prominent role in the party. In 1999, he led the Yuva Chetna Yatra, a visionary project aimed at increasing awareness of the party’s work among the youth, in which he covered a distance of 2100 kilometers across all the district headquarters of Punjab and demonstrated his event management capabilities. and demonstrated knowledge-sharing skills. From 1995 to 2009, Tarun held various roles in the BJP, including state general secretary of the youth wing in Punjab, national executive member of the Yuva Morcha and vice-chairman of the Punjab Youth Development Board department. In 2013, his excellent ability to unite individuals and organizations led him to become the General Secretary of BJP Punjab and in-charge of Doaba Zone and BJP Youth Wing. In the 2012 and 2017 Punjab Legislative Assembly elections, Tarun Chugh (BJP) emerged as the runner-up for the Amritsar Central constituency, with Om Prakash Soni of the Indian National Congress being the winning candidate during both the elections.
