On 26 October 2017, she took her first international wicket in the match between Australia and England in the second Women’s ODI. On 9 November 2017, she made her Test debut for Australia Women against England Women in the Women’s Ashes series. In April 2019, he signed a contract with Cricket Australia’s national performance squad for the 2019–20 season. As a part of the team, she gained a lot of experience by traveling to different countries with the ‘A’ team, even when she was not in the playing team. In April 2020, he signed a central contract with Cricket Australia for the 2020–21 season. In August 2021, he was named in the Australian squad for the one-day or night Test matches in the series against India. In September 2021, she performed brilliantly in the first three WODIs of the series at the Great Barrier Reef Arena, Mackay, Queensland. He did not get a chance to bat in the series. On 24 September 2021, she bowled and claimed 3-45, and added 74 runs from 77 balls with Beth Mooney, helping Australia reach top spot. On 7 October 2021, she made her Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for Australia against India. In January 2022, she played for the Australian team against the England team in the Women’s Ashes. In the Women’s T20I series, she took three wickets and scored more than 75 runs, becoming the first Australian all-rounder to do so. He achieved figures of 3-26 and scored 91 runs off 49 balls. She scored 225 runs and took 11 wickets against the Women’s Ashes and was named Player of the Series. In January 2022, she joined the Australian squad for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. In May 2022, he played for the Australian team in a cricket tournament at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

In 2022, she played the final T20I match against India in Mumbai and was the captain of the team after Australia’s interim captain Alyssa Healy was injured. In 2023, she scored 57 runs and took six wickets in the Women’s T20 World Cup in Gkebarha and reached the semi-finals. They won the trophy on 27 February.

Controversy
In 2022, she came into controversy when she was not prevented from playing a match against India in the Commonwealth Games even though she tested positive for Covid. Many criticized the CWG’s decision and said that if it was fair for him to play in the tournament, then it was fair for tennis player Novak Djokovic, who was barred from playing in the Australian Open upon landing in Australia. People in Australia considered him a security threat because he was not vaccinated.
