The Blast reports that the death certificate lists the cause of death as “breast cancer with metastasis to the brain.” The certificate also lists underlying conditions such as hypertension and hydrocephalus, which contributed to his death.
Suzanne had been battling hydrocephalus for over a year and in July 2022 had a VP shunt placed to treat the condition, which occurs when there is a “buildup of fluid in cavities called ventricles deep in the brain.”
