- In an interview, he talked about how he came up with the name “Tehelka Prank” for his YouTube channel. He said that he was a notorious child in his childhood who used to imitate the voice of a girl or an old man to entertain his friends. Some of his friends used to say, “You are creating a real ruckus” and others were saying, “You are creating a real ruckus in the school.” Years later, when he decided to start a YouTube channel he was confused between the words “Tehelka” and “Tabaahi” to name his channel. He finalized the prank name Tehelka after discussing it with his wife.
- In an interview, his wife Deepika revealed that he had two siblings, a brother and a sister, who were blind. Deepika’s father often worried about who would take care of her blind siblings when he was no more. Deepika, along with her father, wanted to establish something that could feed blind brothers and sisters for the rest of their lives. When she met Sunny for the first time, she had no intention of marrying him. However, Sunny impresses his father by promising that he will always take care and provide for the blind siblings. Because of this gesture Deepika’s father agreed to marry Deepika.
