Suchi Mukherjee was born on Friday, 6 July 1973 (age 50 years; as in 2023) in Haryana. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He began his formal education at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and completed BA Honors (1994–1996) in Economics with Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. After this he did M.Sc. After completing his education, Suchi joined Lehman Brothers Incorporation in 1998 as Senior Associate, Corporate Finance. In 2003, she moved to Virgin Media as Director of Change and Business Development. In 2005, she joined eBay Inc. as head of Business Seller Programs and CS. Just a year later, she became a director and member of the executive management team at Skype. After working at Skype for 3 years, she became the Managing Director and GM at Gumtree, a British-based online classified ads and community website.

- Suchi Mukherjee has the tag of being the first Indian to receive the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship in 1994 to study Economics at the University of Cambridge. She is also a Chadburn Scholar, holds a university record in Development Economics, was elected Member of the Newnham Associates of Cambridge University in 2008 and is a British Chevening Scholar at the LSE.
- The idea for LimeRoad came to Suchi a month after giving birth to her second child. While she was flipping through a magazine, she realized that she was unable to purchase a piece of jewelery featured in the magazine and so needed a technology with an easy interface that would help women find products that were outsourced .
- Actress Neha Dhupia has been the art director at LimeRoad since 2014 and has some stake in the company. She also withdraws monthly salary. She was the company’s first choice because of her glamour.

- In 2015, he was selected to address the Startup India Standup India event in New Delhi and shared the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- Suchi had admitted in an interview that she was not a girly girl since childhood, but was a tomboy.
- When she was just 13 years old, she learned to drive a car. Although she admits that it was wrong, she learned that it is okay to make mistakes and learn from the experience.
