Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Offers Cal’s Lightsaber In Collector’s Edition

The highly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Survivor isn’t coming out until March 2023, but eager fans can already order a special Collector’s Edition that includes Cal Kestis’ trusty lightsaber. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was one of the many upcoming titles shown off at The Game Awards 2022, revealing new gameplay footage and the game’s previously leaked March release date. Cal Kestis voice actor Cameron Monaghan even appeared on the Game Awards stage with lightsaber in hand to express excitement for the upcoming adventure, going as far as to call Jedi: Survivor one of the best Star Wars games to date.

Players who pre-order Jedi: Survivor will receive several bonuses, depending on where they order from, but those who opt for the Collector’s Edition will be able to wield Cal Kestis’ lightsaber for themselves – or at least its distinct metal hilt. LimitedRunGames has recently announced that a collector’s edition of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available to order on its website (as reported by ComicBook). This special collector’s set will cost $299.99 and is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Collector’s Edition comes with a steelbook case, previously revealed DLC inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi, a certificate of authenticity, and a replica of Cal Kestis’ canon lightsaber hilt with a magnetic box to store it in.

Only 1,500 Copies Of Jedi: Survivor’s Collector’s Edition Will Be Made

LimitedRunGames has prided itself on producing high-end collector’s editions for upcoming video games, including a re-release of Knights of the Old Republic featuring a mini-bust of the imposing Darth Revan, as well as physical copies of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Nintendo Switch. In the past, the company has also sold novelty collector’s items, like authentic Star Wars Episode I: Racer Nintendo 64 cartridges and even physical releases for cult-classic titles, like Indigo Prophecy for the PlayStation 4.

Cal Kestis’ unique lightsaber from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was made available for visitors at Disney theme parks earlier this year, and now LimitedRunGames is giving even more fans a chance to own his now-iconic weapon in time for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor‘s March release date. While it certainly is an interesting prospect given the high quality of Galaxy’s Edge’s custom lightsabers, fans looking forward to seeing Cal’s journey continue will have to hurry if they want one, as LimitedRunGames is only producing 1,500 copies of its Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Collector’s Edition.

For the rest of the galaxy, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch in March 2023, and will continue Cal’s story five years after Jedi: Fallen Order. Players who pre-order the game will gain access to special character skins inspired by classic Star Wars characters, and the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor gameplay footage shown during this week’s Game Awards 2022 event promises plenty of new Force abilities and customizable lightsaber options for Cal to wield on his quest to save the galaxy from the Empire. Soon, some lucky players will be able to carry Cal’s lightsaber on their own adventures.
