Sophie Turner will spend Christmas Day with her daughters in London amid her divorce from Joe Jonas.

According PEOPLE, Turner revealed in the lawsuit against Jonas for custody of their daughters that the “breakup” of their four-year marriage occurred “very suddenly.”
The actress noted that things changed after an argument at Jonas’s 34th birthday in mid-August. Three weeks after the disagreement, the musician filed for divorce in Miami.
In addition to revealing details about the couple’s separation, Sophie Turner claimed in lawsuit documents that she and Joe Jonas had agreed to declare England their “forever home” in a conversation that took place on Christmas 2022. This is did while the duo had been planning for the next year.
The documents also revealed that Turner and Jonas agreed to let their daughters accompany him during the tour. This was because he had more daytime hours available than Turner. However, Turner noted that he had “doubts” about the temporary agreement.

A representative for Jonas responded to Turner’s lawsuit by noting that she was aware of her ex’s plans before the divorce became public. “After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe filed for divorce in Florida,” the rep said. “Since Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. “Sophie knew Joe was going to file for divorce.”
