Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus, 24, revealed she suffered a “serious” stroke this morning.
On Thursday, the rapper’s daughter took to Instagram to share the scary health update. “I had a severe stroke and started crying when they told me,” she wrote over an image from a hospital bed. “Like I’m only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all this?”

Years of health issues left Cori Broadus with poor mental health and ultimately led to a suicide attempt in 2021. Following this, Snoop Dogg’s daughter opted for a much more holistic approach to treating her lupus. .
“I stopped taking all my medications about five months ago,” Broadus said. People. “I just do everything natural, all kinds of herbs, sea moss, teas. I started exercising, drinking a lot of water. So now I think my body is saying, okay, this is the new program and she’s getting used to it.”
Taking medication to treat her lupus since she was 6 years old made her “feel as if [she] “I was going crazy,” Broadus admitted.
“I have been on medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs my entire life. So I wanted something better for myself,” she said. “I wanted to change because it became too much. I’m only 24 years old and I take 10 to 12 pills every day. So I just quit cold turkey.”
At the time, Broadus stated that lifestyle changes were making a noticeable difference in his life. “My body doesn’t hurt,” he said. “When you have lupus, that’s one of the number one things. You have joint pain, you have arthritis. And now I think, damn, I don’t complain about my knees, my feet, my hands, my back.”
