Snehil Mehra was a very bright student in her childhood. During her school days, she received formal training in dancing and singing. As a child, she wanted to become a journalist and often practiced speaking in front of the mirror at her home. Later, he expressed his desire to become a news anchor to his father, but he refused and sent him to Bhopal to pursue an engineering degree. In an interview given to a media house, Snehil Mehra recalled his childhood memories. He said,
I wanted to do something creative all my life, so I told dad I wanted to become a journalist. He refused, ‘Where will you go with the bag?’
In the same conversation, he told that his mother wanted to help him pursue a career in journalism, but it was all in vain. Later, after completing his engineering degree, he received a job offer from an IT firm. Before joining the job, she went to her brother’s house in Mumbai for a month, where she did an internship in a news channel, which she liked very much and she decided to stay in Mumbai to pursue a career in media technology. he adds,
