The original design was done by developers Trainwiz and PrivateEye, with help from artwork by Elianora and Rob Vogel. As mentioned, there are three parts of the dungeon that need to be completed simultaneously: Dwarf Crown, Pony, and Season of Oblivion. Players are tasked with finding hidden parts in dungeons, and they must defeat familiar ghosts and a new dwarven automation system to obtain them. As the title suggests, the dungeon is divided into four sections, themed around the four seasons: Spring Symphony, Winter Bells, Summer Chords, and Autumn Bells. Things to know before entering Skyrim’s Forgotten Seasons dungeon

Some areas of the cave hide objects that need to be moved through other areas. Here are some items you should look for before entering these areas:
- Before entering Runoff Cave, there is a horse body that the player must interact with to initiate the horse quest. Do this ahead of time to avoid coming back later.
- The player does not need to clear the carry weights of the quest sections as they already have zero weight.
- Prepare spells or weapons to defeat icy, fire and powerful impact enemies.
- If unarmed, lightning can strike the player and deal damage.
- Remember to activate the lever of the bridge after entering for easy exit later.
- Defeat the Blooming Boss Sprig Matron to get the Port Key that holds the Spring Mask. This boss is at the end of the Spring Symphony.
- You can find a dwarf firefly in the chest at the end of the Spring Symphony, which will help you navigate the toxic corridor.
- The horse’s mechanical parts are all located in one area: Bells of Autumn.
Complete the quest Dwarven Crown in The Forgotten Season of Skyrim
Although they are performed concurrently, they require different steps and actions to complete Skyrim’s Forgotten Season Mission. For example, the quest Dwarven Crown begins with the death of the wizard Elberon. He is struck by lightning upon entering the Vardnknd Gallery, prompting the player to loot his items. On him, the player finds a dwarf’s crown and begins to find three masks from different parts to fit into it. Masks can be found here:
Autumn Mask – Found in Autumn Bells. There is a bridge to the right of the room. After crossing, head north on the brick road. This leads to the mask inside the aisle.
Spring Mask – Get the keys to the Spring Symphony by defeating the ultimate Spriggan Boss. After that, go back to the hallway and door you saw earlier. Now that you have the key, open the door and find the mask here.
Winter Mask – During the bells of winter, there is a hideout in the hallway where all the frost spiders hide, leading to a room full of snow. There is a gate on it, you need to climb a small snow mountain and a short pipe to get there. Jump into the water and walk across the canal. Get ready to fight the dwarf centurion.

Another quest is available as horizon line forgotten season Involves finding missing horse parts. Once found, these parts will be reattached to the horse’s body at the dungeon’s entrance. Thankfully, they’re not too hard to find as they’re all in the same area. However, one needs to go through the entire cave to get there. It is located in the main area of the cave. The horse’s four legs and head can be found here:
Right front foot – in the entrance hallway.
Left front leg – The top of the base is behind the main chamber.
Right Back Leg – Under a collapsed building near green wheat on the left side of the room.
Left Back Leg – Near a collapsed tower on the right side of the room, near red wheat.
Horse Head – On the pile of gold in the gem room. This section can be found by completing the Autumn Bells puzzle.

The final quest has the ultimate champion, The forgotten season. There is a passage of the same name in Elberon’s diary, which instructs the player to find four gems in a dungeon. These gems shut down the broken weather machine and save Skyrim from controlled terrible weather. They can also be found walking through caves in the first two missions. Autumn Conduit Gem – In Autumn Ling’s room, read the mercenary’s note. Then, harvest a variety of wheat (blue, red, fawn, orange, green, and white) and place them in a bucket next to the fiery red wheat. Finally, get the gem from the currently open treasure room.
Spring Conduit Gem – Reread the dead mercenary’s note to learn how to get gems. First, kill the Spriggins in the correct order to destroy the grape jam and fight Boss Spriggin. Once defeated, you will receive the key (if not obtained from the Dwarf Crown quest). This key will open a door in the entrance hall where the gem can be found.
Summer Conduit – In Summer Chord, use the joystick to activate the mechanical spider. Next, guide the spider to the correct reference point to close the pipe. Here the task is completed.
Winter Pipe Gem – This area requires fighting against many enemies such as Ice Spiders, Ice Lords, and Frost Ghosts. This is the main challenge before exploring and getting gems.
Turn off the Weather Wizard – After you turn off all the pipes, return to the Vardnknd gallery and face the giant dwarf spider, the Sky Coordinator. Bosses will go through three stages: Frost, Fire and Shock. Once defeated, the shutdown mission is complete.
Skyrim’s Forgotten Season One of the toughest additions, but worth the effort. The bonus of getting a mechanical pony is the most valuable, as it can ride it through any attack without getting hurt. Most of the items found here are related to the current quest and are not needed in other areas of the game. With the exception of spells, the alternation of seasons, dwarves armor, and dwarves drones, of course.
