SK Bhagavan (1933–2023) was a renowned Indian film producer, producer and actor who directed several Kannada films under the banner of Dorai-Bhagavan. Worked with Dorairaj. On 20 February 2023, SK Bhagwan died due to old age ailments.

Srinivasa Krishna Iyengar Bhagavan was born on Wednesday, 5 July 1933 (age 89 at the time of death) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He did his schooling from Bangalore High School.

Bhagwan paved his way into acting by joining a theater group, Hiraniya Mitra Mandali. In 1956, he worked as an assistant director to Kannada film writer Kanagal Prabhakar Sastri for the film Bhagyodaya. In 1967, he co-directed the Kannada film Rajadurgada Rahasya with AC Narasimha Murthy.

Later, he worked with director B. Along with Dorairaj, he formed the duo Dorai-Bhagwan. Dorai-Lord was popular for directing several blockbuster Kannada films including Kasthuri Nivas (1971), Eradu Kanasu (1974), Bayaludari (1977), Chandanada Gombe (1979), Galimatu (1981), Hosa Belaku (1982), and Benakiya . Bell (1983).

The pair also directed James Bond genre films such as Goa Dalli CID 999 (1968), Operation Jackpot Nalli CID 999 (1969), and Operation Diamond Racket (1978). The pair’s last film was Balondu Chaduranga (1995), starring Saikumar and Sudharani. In 2019, Lord made his comeback and directed his 50th film ‘Aduva Gombe’ starring Sanchari Vijay and Ananth Nag.
