Former American Idol judge Simon Cowell has earned a reputation as a harsh music critic. And now a group of plastic surgeons are willing to return the favor. Cowell appeared on a British game show earlier this month and had a different look.
Although he probably won’t admit it, Cowell has had some work done recently. The result worries some plastic surgeons who spoke to Page Six.
“It looks like you have too much volume in your face, which is usually too much filler in your face,” said celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ramtin Kassir.
“As Botox wears off in three months, Simon may reevaluate his options, potentially opting for a more natural approach to Botox or exploring alternative medical-grade treatments for subtle wrinkle reduction,” said injector Pamela Weinberger.
Cardi B reflects on plastic surgery
Although most celebrities are modest about undergoing surgery, there are some people, like rap star Cardi B, who are more transparent about the work they have done.
“I had fillers in my nose in 2019. And that screwed up my nose. I was like, ‘Oh my God, what did I do to myself?'” Cardi said.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper also wants to clear up the stigma around people undergoing surgery. She says she has nothing to do with her insecurities.
“This is what is complicated for many people. “People will assume that when you have surgery or something, you feel insecure about yourself or hate yourself, and that’s just not the truth,” he added.
“If I want to correct something, if I want to do something, something like… I’m going to do it. I like to be perfect. I like a certain body type, for example, for me.”
The comedian reacts to the death of his wife from surgery
Plastic surgery has become a trend for people to improve their physical appearance. But sometimes the results can be fatal. Just ask comedian DC Young Fly.
His wife, Mrs. Jacky Oh, passed away in 2023 after complications from her plastic surgery. She was 33 years old. The comedian says it’s something he still has a hard time understanding.
“I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, it’s hard every day, to this day,” he said.
He also said that his children have helped him get through difficult times.
“They’ve been through something that I haven’t even been through,” he said of his children. “My second daughter, Nala, would come out of nowhere and say, ‘What’s wrong, Dad? Are you OK? Don’t worry. Everything is going to be okay,’ that’s the spirit. It will be difficult, but they are made for it.”
