However, the couple separated after dating for about three years. In an interview, when Ayesha was asked whether she developed feelings for Indian actor Vatsal Sheth after kissing them in the film Tarzan. She said that she was already dating Siddharth Koirala at that time. However, Ayesha also revealed that she and Sidharth broke up because they could not resolve their differences.

He once started a company called Cormorant Foods Pvt Ltd doing business of agriculture and allied activities. Later the company was closed.
