Alex Newell looks beautiful in a gold dress on the red carpet at the Tony Awards 2023!
The 30-year-old actor, who rose to fame as Unique Adams in Happinesswas all smiles on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theater in New York City’s Washington Heights.
Alex is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his work in Hulled and may make history as the first non-binary actor to win in the category.
Also present was Alex’s co-star Kevin Cahoon, who is nominated in the same category, as well as writer Robert Horn, nominated for Best Book of a Musical for writing the show’s script.
