Shubman Gill is an Indian international cricketer. Shubman Gill plays for Punjab in domestic cricket as a right-hand opening batsman. He was also the vice-captain of the India U-19 team for the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup.

Shubman Gill started playing cricket at an early age to fulfill his father’s passion and dream. He is a right-handed batsman who represents the Punjab cricket team and usually plays in the first level. He is popular for scoring big runs in style. Likewise, his success in local tournaments ensured that he was included in the U-19 World Cup team as vice-captain.
He was able to play in the U-16 inter-district competition, where he scored 351 runs and shared an opening record of 587 in the year 2014. Then, in the U-16 state competition, he was able to continue. to score an unbeaten double century in the Vijay Merchant Trophy.
Furthermore, to honor these achievements, Shubman Gill was awarded the BCCI Best Junior Cricketer Award for two consecutive years. Gill became the captain of the India Blue team for the 2019-20 Duleep Trophy in August 2019. And in October 2019, he became the captain of the India C team for the 2019-20 Deodhar Trophy.
