Shraddha Joshi Sharma is a 2007 batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. She is the wife of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, on whom a biopic, 12th Fail, was released in October 2023.

Shraddha Joshi Sharma was born on Monday, 5 March 1979 (age 44 years; as of 2023) in Almora, Uttar Pradesh (now in Uttarakhand), India. His zodiac sign is Pisces. She did her schooling from Uttar Pradesh Board and managed to secure 13th rank in the state in her 12th class board exam. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Gurukul Kangri (Deemed University) in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. After completing his formal education he worked as a doctor in a hospital in Uttarakhand. Soon after, he started preparing for the Uttarakhand Provincial Civil Services (UK-PCS) examination. In an interview, Shraddha claimed that she and her friend decided to become civil servants after a woman who was domestically abused was admitted to hospital with severe burn marks on her body and died. Shraddha starts preparing for the exam; However, due to lack of guidance in her hometown, she decided to relocate to New Delhi, where she joined Drishti IAS.

In 2005, Shraddha Joshi Sharma was successful in passing the PCS examination. After this he was appointed to the post of Deputy Collector in Nainital. In 2007, she appeared for the Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC and was successful in clearing it. He was allotted the Indirect Taxes (Customs and GST) department of the Indian Revenue Service. He later attended the National Academy of Direct Taxes in Nagpur, Maharashtra. On 18 September 2007, he completed his training module. After this he was posted in the Ministry of Tourism of Maharashtra Government. On 21 June 2018, she was appointed as Additional Commissioner in Mahila Economic Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM), Ministry of Women and Child Development, Mumbai. There, she worked with several women-run self-help groups (SHGs) and played a key role in drafting and implementing gender-neutral policies in the state. She became the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of MAVIM.

On 30 September 2022, he was posted to Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in Mumbai, where he was appointed as the Managing Director. At MTDC, he was instrumental in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding bilateral promotion of tourism between Maharashtra and Japan. He has also worked in tax investigation in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) department.

- While giving an interview, Shraddha said that when her husband Manoj was taking police training at SVPNPA, he used to call her at night or during breaks and ask about her UPSC preparations. He talked about it, and said,
He was in SVPNPA and whenever he had time he used to call me from Docomo landline. Even though he had a busy schedule, he took time to ask me how my preparation was going. He also asked me questions on General Knowledge, because his knowledge in this is really good. He also inspired me.”
- According to Shraddha, her parents were hesitant in marrying her to Manoj, even after he became a police officer because he was assigned to Maharashtra cadre. At that time Shraddha was working as a PCS officer in Nainital, Uttarakhand. To convince his parents, Manoj lied to them and said that if they got married and he presented his marriage certificate to the government, the government would allow him to transfer his cadre from Maharashtra to Uttarakhand on compassionate grounds.
