While it is a common misconception that Shivshakti started her acting career with Bhabhi (2002), her debut was with the show Hero- Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai (2005) after which she joined the cast of Bhabhi. Her claim to fame was Sabki Laadli Bebo (2009) for playing the character Bebo. Her first negative role was in the show Uttaran (2009). She has also acted in The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir (2012), which is a remake of the English show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2005).
