Sherri Shepherd opened up about her decision to undergo a breast reduction.
The 56-year-old talk show host told her fans about the procedure during the season premiere of sherry.
While explaining why she went ahead with the process, she also compared it to transforming her body and called out health insurance companies for not prioritizing women’s health.

“I had a boob job,” Sherri jumped in to announce while dancing on her set. “I had a breast reduction over the summer,” she said, teasing that everything would be bigger for the new season. sheri“except these tits.”
Sherri explained that she had received “a lot of comments” from people telling her she was “too heavy.” That wasn’t what inspired her decision to pursue the surgery.
“To be clear, I did not have this boob job because of all the comments. I had a boob job because I just wanted to see what it felt like to sleep on my stomach,” she told her audience.
She revealed that she was 42DD and came from a family where they all had larger breasts. That made her decision to part ways with her “best friends” a difficult and “bittersweet” decision. However, she said they were causing problems for her body.
“I thought I was carrying the weight of the world, but it was actually the weight of my breasts,” Sherri joked. “Joking aside, what happened was that they were so heavy that I was hunched over all the time. It started to be very painful; My back hurt a lot. I was getting grooves in my shoulders because you had to pull up your bra.”
There were some big positives that came with the change. “I can sit up straight, I feel lighter and it’s easier to shop,” she said, listing just a few of the benefits.
Sherri made a comparison to her weight loss journey and said, “When you start losing weight, you can cross your legs. That’s the thing. You start to see your collarbones. You know, when you get your breasts done, I don’t have to wear a bra.”
He also sued health insurance companies for refusing to cover the procedure, even when it is necessary to relieve pain.
