Shelby Lynne was born in Quantico, Virginia, United States, on October 22, 1968. Her full name is Shelby Lynn Moorer and she has American nationality.

He continued his music career after a seven-year hiatus. Additionally, she began working with producer Bill Bottrell. Shelby released her next album “I Am Shelby Lynne” with Bill and won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist on February 21, 2001.

He founded his label, Everso Records, after a disagreement with Lost Highway. With his record label, he released his subsequent albums “Tears, Lies and Alibis” (2010), “Merry Christmas” (2010) and “Revelation Road” (2011).
