Shawn Levy is speaking Deadpool 3!
The director of the highly anticipated upcoming film spoke about the status of multiple projects, including his Star Wars project and Deadpool 3in an interview with Variety.

“When Kathy Kennedy brought me on board to do a Star Wars movie, his central mandate to me was, “I want a Shawn Levy movie.” I want a story and a tone that reflects you, your tastes and what you bring to your films, with a ‘Star Wars’ story. So I have felt extremely empowered. Unfortunately, we are in the early days because the development process was abruptly stopped. [due to the WGA strike]but I feel very qualified to trust my instincts in the development of this story and film,” he said.
“The experience I am currently having with Marvel in deadpool “It shows me firsthand that it’s really possible to feel empowered and personal by making a movie within a universe that’s bigger than any movie,” he continued.
“My deadpool The movie is turning out to be exactly what Ryan [Reynolds] and had waited when we started. Then I go to the development of my Star Wars film with a similar optimism and faith that my instincts will be able to lead the way.”
The film features the return of the iconic character Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman. In a new interview, Shawn weighed in on whether the film was still on track for its May 3 release date. He also addressed rumors that Taylor Swift would be joining the cast in an exciting role. This is what she said!
