Sharon Osbourne fired several men from her staff due to their behavior towards women

Sharon Osbourne, one of the first women to front a rock band, talks about her experience protecting other women in the entertainment industry.

Sharon Osbourne has revealed the lengths she has gone to to protect her employees – and it includes sacking male staff members.

In an interview with Mirroras reported by too fabulous, Sharon explained: “Men take advantage. “They always have and always will.”

“The number of men who have worked for me have been looking for those young women,” he recalled. “[One employee] “She’s worked for me for years,” she added, “and the times I fired men who took advantage of her, abused her and tried to harass her with drink.”

Sharon believes she never had a #MeToo experience while working in the male-dominated industry because it was “too threatening.”

“I never wanted to be shown vulnerable. When I started there were no other female managers in this genre,” she said. “It’s hard. That’s why people say: ‘She’s like this, like that.’ But you have to be, otherwise people will eat you. It’s survival.”

Navigating employee protections wasn’t Sharon’s only struggle—

—But managing her husband Ozzy’s early fame and fans while in a committed relationship was too.

In an interview with daily mailas reported by Too FabSharon revealed why she decided to ignore Ozzy’s fans, but also pointed out where she drew the line.
