Savannah Chrisley and Colton Underwood revealed that they dated in 2017.
The 25-year-old reality star said he “knew” the first time they met that the former footballer was gay.
Colton was the star of the 2019 season of The Bachelor and came out as gay in 2021.

“When we met, I knew you were gay. As if he knew! Savannah said in the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast.
“I mean, for obvious reasons,” Colton replied. “When I say, ‘It’s not you, it’s me,’ I mean it. And obviously I’ve tested it at this point.”
“Obviously you’re hot as hell, but like there’s no connection there and I remember looking [my makeup artist friend] Emily and I said, ‘He’s totally gay!’ she said ‘No, he’s not Savannah,’” she said on the podcast titled “My Gay Ex-Lover”.
Savannah later confessed that she told Colton she wasn’t feeling well and was going to go back to her room, but then she went to another hotel to hang out with another guy. After that date, Colton said his life was a whirlwind.
“I filmed three reality shows in one year,” Colton said. “My identity goes from soccer player to reality star and I was running from my sexuality, so I was happy that my identity was tied to more than just people questioning me about it.”
There are several NFL players who have come out over the years, including one player who is currently on an active roster.
