Sharanya KS was born on Saturday, 15 March 1986 (age 35 at the time of death) in Kannur, Kerala. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He did his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kerala. Later, he joined the University of Calicut, Kerala.

On 21 April 2014, she got engaged to South Indian production associate Binu Xavier, and on 26 October 2014, the couple got married at the Sree Narayana Seva Sabha Temple in Kochi. Later, he was given a grand welcome at the Rotary Club Panambili Nagar in Kochi, Kerala. Reportedly, when Sasi was diagnosed with a brain tumor, her husband left her, and later, there were rumors that Binu and Sasi got divorced, and Binu married some other girl.

He debuted as an actor in the Malayalam TV serial ‘Suryodayam’ broadcast on Doordarshan in 2006. She appeared in Malayalam TV serials such as ‘Harichandanam’ (2010), ‘Avakaashikal’ (2011), and ‘Kutukari’ (2014). In 2006, he debuted with the Malayalam film ‘Chacko Randaman’. Some of her other Malayalam films are ‘Chhota Mumbai’ (2007), ‘Thalappavu’ (2008), and ‘Annamariya Kalipilanu’ (2016).
Death
In 2012, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent about 11 surgeries. She battled cancer for almost a decade as a result of which her health deteriorated. Later, he was tested positive for COVID-19 in May 2021 and after recovering from it, he was diagnosed with pneumonia and other respiratory problems. She could not survive the disease and died on 9 August 2021 at a local hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled his demise through a Facebook post. Saranya’s fight with cancer without losing her confidence has created inspiration and optimism for our society. When Kerala faced monsoon-related losses, Saranya showed her social commitment and care for others by taking out money for her treatment and donating it to the CM Relief Fund. I share in the grief of his friends and family.
