We met at the Performance Center. When Tough Enough was coming out I would go over to a friend’s apartment and we would watch it. I will never forget when they announced the 11 tough guys. When Sarah came on screen, I said to people, ‘I don’t know what it is, but I think she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on.’ It was crazy, this was before the show even existed. Just because of luck, she wins it. I was so proud of her. When you are so beautiful inside and out, it shows through the camera. I think that’s what helped him win. We started talking at the NXT Combine. We were doing some weight room testing. We did some boating and I did so much that I capsized. I was in the weight room in front of the trash can when the girls were about to start, first impressions were great. She was so sweet that later that night she messaged me on Twitter and said, ‘Hey, I hope you feel better.’ And that’s where it started.”
