Sara Hayland Became A New Host On Love Island USA After Replacing Arielle Vandenberg

Love Island USA’s Season 4 opening episode aired on Peacock on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 9.00 p.m. ET. Viewers had to acclimate to one major change: Modern Family actress Sara Hayland has replaced Arielle Vandenberg as the show’s new presenter. Vandenberg gave up the hosting duties for the fourth season after emceeing the previous three successful seasons. Viewers, on the other hand, were looking forward to seeing Arielle emcee the event and expressed their displeasure on social media. One follower tweeted:

The fourth season of Love Island USA has started, with ten islanders entering the villa in search of love. They’ve been paired up with possible companions. To be safe, they will have to engage in fascinating activities and participate in dramatic recoupling sessions with high stakes and enormous prize money at the conclusion of the program.

Arielle Vandenberg, former Love Island USA presenter, explains why she is not presenting Season 4 of the popular show.

Love Island USA Season 4 premiered with a new presenter, Sarah Hayland. In an Instagram post on June 30, 2022, former anchor Arielle Vandenberg disclosed the reason for handing on the job to the Modern Family actor. She stated:

“I was hired as the host of CBS’s Love Island, and we had three incredible seasons!” Sadly, CBS did not renew it for a fourth season. The program has moved to Peacock, and since it is on a different network, they are entirely rebranding it, with a new narrator and presenter.”

Arielle went on to say that she is “really disappointed” that she will not be able to host the next season, particularly because she “worked so hard to finally get there, and it was an actual dream come true.” She did, however, add that she was thrilled that her buddy would be hosting the upcoming season and that he would “nail it,” given the latter’s wonderful demeanor.

She concluded her post with:

“To summarize, I simply wanted to come here to express how much I have loved and valued your support over the previous three seasons.” So, with that stated, my time on Love Island has come to an end. I have 30 minutes to gather my belongings and say my farewells.”

Better be happy I’m a huge modern family fan or I’d be very upset about the host change 😒 still miss hearing Arielle voice 🧡 #LoveIslandUSA https://t.co/Mm6fb1GBoQ

The new Love Island USA host thanked Arielle for her support and revealed the exciting news about anchoring the program. Sarah indicated in an interview with People that “things are going to be very awesome” in the fourth season. She also confirmed that audiences will receive their much-anticipated dose of drama this year.

“It’s going to be hotter and naughtier.” The challenge games will be a lot of fun and s**y. And I can’t wait for everyone to meet, see, and get to know each other, in order to form not just hopefully long-lasting partnerships, but also friendships.”

Along with the new presenter, Love Island USA fans will receive a new narrator. However, the narrator is none other than the great Iain Stirling, who also narrates the series’ British version. He took over for Matthew Hoffman as the season 4 narrator and has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to his engaging voice.
