Sanjeev Jeeva was an Indian gangster who was murdered in broad daylight at Kaiserbagh court in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, 6 June 2023. He was suspected of having links with the murder of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Brahm Dutt Dwivedi. He was a close associate of Indian gangster and politician Mukhtar Ansari.

Sanjeev Maheshwari aka Sanjeev Jeeva was born in 1975 (age 48 years at the time of death) in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Before entering the world of crime, he worked as a compounder in a dispensary in Muzaffarnagar.

Sanjeev Maheshwari alias “Jeeva” had prior experience working as a compounder in a dispensary in the 1990s. At that time, they kidnapped the dispensary owner and demanded a huge amount of money as ransom. After this incident, he got involved in various additional criminal activities, thereby increasing the name of Sanjeev Jeeva in the world of gangsters. Later, he was involved in the kidnapping of a Kolkata businessman’s son and demanded Rs 2 crore in ransom.
