With Super Bowl LVIII scheduled for February 11, San Francisco 49ers super Jeremy Renner is getting pumped for the upcoming event.
During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Renner couldn’t contain his excitement about the 49ers heading into the big NFL game. “I am delighted with this,” he declared. “It is a very good opportunity for us, we have a great team and we are healthy. The diference of the last year, [when] “Everything fell apart for us, which is heartbreaking.”
Although the 49ers made the playoffs in 2022, the team fell apart during the NFC Championship against the Philadelphia Eagles. This was due to various injuries.
Jeremy Renner said he has a lot of confidence in this year’s team’s chances. “It’s good to have a team to root for like the Niners, man,” Renner said. “I don’t have a plan B. There is no plan B. That means you are planning to fail. It’s the same in my career: I never planned to do anything else. I thought, I guess this is a plan to fail.”
Renner pointed out that you can’t fail either. Same with recovery. “It’s like I have to plan to die,” he continued. “I’m getting better, you know what I mean? It’s kind of an attitude I have. So with the Niners they are not going to lose. “I don’t have to plan for that.”
Regarding his time to attend the event, Jeremy Renner said that since the game is on the weekend, his schedule is open. “It’s the weekend, so when the Niners go… I’ll definitely have to go to that,” he added. “And it’s in Las Vegas, so it should be pretty easy to get to, I guess. Yes, I would have to go to that.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy Renner recently spoke with PEOPLE about how he recovered from his 2023 snowplow accident. The incident left him with multiple broken bones and near-fatal injuries.
“Certainly that machine crushed a lot of insensitivity in me,” he said. And I think at this point those calluses have already been removed.”
