Sagarika Ghosh was born on Sunday, 8 November 1964 (age 59 years; as in 2023) in New Delhi, India. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Sagarika Ghosh started her journalism career in 1992. Early in his career, he provided his services for various Indian print media channels including The Times of India, Outlook magazine and The Indian Express. Later, she started working in broadcast media and initially, she was named as Deputy Editor and Prime Time Anchor in the news network CNN-IBN.

Sagarika Ghosh left her job as deputy editor at CNN-IBN in July 2014, when the news channel was taken over by Mukesh Ambani’s venture Reliance Industries Limited. Controversy
Sagarika Ghosh interviewed Hindu spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on her show “Joining Us Tonight” on 9 November 2011, on the topic “Should spiritual leaders participate in anti-corruption campaigns?” They questioned him on various issues during the show and he in turn criticized and refuted his responses. The show “CNN-IBN Live” was broadcast on video feed when Ravi Shankar was on screen. He was also interviewed a day before the actual interview and his statements were edited and broadcast as answers to Ghosh’s live questions. Later, this was criticized and Ghosh met with CNN-IBN to issue a formal apology, saying it was due to “technical issues”.
