Sachin Garg was born on Friday, 27 June 1986 ( age 37 years; as of 2023) in New Delhi, India. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He completed his schooling at the N. K. Bagrodia Public School, Rohini and later did electronics and communication engineering at the Delhi College of Engineering (now Delhi Technological University). He completed his post-graduation at the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and IAE Business School, Paris. As a kid, Sachin used to spend most of his time in sports and played many different sports including Cricket and Hockey.

Family

Sachin Garg was born into a Haryanvi family in Delhi.

Parents & Siblings

His father is a retired government servant, he worked for the Delhi Development Authority and his mother is a homemaker. He has two elder siblings.

Career

Sachin started writing when he was still in college. He worked at JSW Steel LTD, but in 2011 he quit his job and started writing full-time and co-founded the Grapevine India Publications with Durjoy Dutta. He has written many bestselling novels including “Never Let Me Go”, “It’s First Love, Just Like The Last One”, “I’m Not Twenty-Four: I Have Been Nineteen For Five Years”, and “I Don’t Have All Day”. In June 2013, his book “Come On Inner Peace! I don’t have all day!”  was on the top of the Hindustan Times AC Neilsen charts within a week of its release. His books are usually a representation of his personal experiences but his debut novel was from a woman’s perspective. He works as an author for famous Publications like Harper Collins and Penguin India.

Sachin Garg has written many Semi-autobiographies. He wrote a play “Mere Creepy Guruji” in 2017 which was performed in Mumbai. He runs a podcast known as “You Know What?” and also writes poetry which he performs at stand-up events.
