While acting in Dick Clark’s rocking New Year’s Eve, Sabrina Carpenter took the stage with a remixed outro of hers Nonsense clue.
During his performance, Carpenter declared, “Clark is everyone’s favorite jerk guy/Raise a toast to everyone you don’t like/Balls are dropping everywhere at midnight.”
Carpenter notably performs the final track of the song for each city. However, it’s safe to say that the NSFW lyrics caused quite a stir both in person and online. Many viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their opinions on her performance.

Sabrina Carpenter once revealed how she celebrates the new year
During a 2021 interview with PEOPLE, Sabrina Carpenter reflected on how she enjoys celebrating the new year.
“I try to spend it at home with my family because most of the year I’m very far away from them and I do all kinds of things,” he said. Girl knows the world the alum explained. “So when we get together and spend time together, it’s really sweet and special.”

However, Carpenter admitted that he doesn’t always grab a Hershey’s Kiss when the clock strikes midnight. “Because I love chocolate and I think it’s a great way to start the new year. “It’s definitely something I’m not going to get over because I love chocolate.”
During that year, Sabrina Carpenter partnered with Samsung for the Life with Galaxy holiday campaign. She surprised three lucky fans with a Samsung product and wrote a custom song for each fan. She added that giving back during the holiday season is “necessary and lovely.”
