Her father, Michael Andlauer, is a logistics tycoon who bought 90% of the Ottawa Senators last year. He paid $950 million to buy the NHL franchise from the family of former owner Eugene Melnyk. After Eugene died, his daughters received 10% of his fortune.
Michael Andlauer was born in France but raised in Montreal, and spent more than 30 years leading healthcare-focused logistics businesses in Canada. In 2004 he invested in the Hamilton Bulldogs and then in 2009 joined Geoff Molson’s group to invest in the Montreal Canadiens. Michael eventually sold the Bulldogs to the Canadiens. Michael and his wife Lucie have two older children named Michael and Matthew, in addition to Alexia.

Ryan McLeod grew up in a family of hockey fans. McLeod was only 18 months old when he started ice skating. He hoped to follow in the footsteps of his two older brothers, Matthew and Michael.
