Ryan Ashley Malarkey is an American tattoo artist, best known for winning Season 8 of the American reality competition show Ink Master in 2016. She has also appeared in several other seasons of the show.

Before marrying DiChristina in 2019, he was engaged to Josh Balz. The two dated for about five years, but things changed between them when Ryan Ashley won Season 8 of Ink Master. According to sources, Josh Balz was not happy with the way Ryan was getting back-to-back offers to be on the reality show. Although he said he was not jealous or hesitant, he was not comfortable with the fact that Ryan was becoming more popular. The couple called off their engagement with mutual consent but they are still connected as friends.

Before venturing into the world of tattoos, he had a keen interest in drawing and sketching. He developed this interest from his mother, who is an artist and taught him to draw. This art later led her to sewing and designing clothes and eventually led her to tattooing. After completing her graduation in 2007, she started practicing fashion design for five years in New York for a private label. After that, she returned to Pennsylvania and started tattooing. She is known for her black and gray designs with bead work, lace detailing and decorative jewelery designs.
