Russell Brand book deal suspended, literary agency and charity cut ties amid sexual assault allegations

The fate of Russell Brand’s book deal is uncertain.

Bluebird, an imprint of British publisher Pan Macmillan, confirmed it is suspending all future publications of the 48-year-old comedian following multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault.

“These are very serious allegations and, in light of them, Bluebird has made the decision to suspend all future publications with Russell Brand,” Bluebird said in a statement reported by The booksellervia THR.
